We are a Fort Myers Pain Management Clinic that specializes in medical pain management for patients in Florida. We take pride in providing our patients with a friendly, clean medical facility that truly puts the patient first. A New Life Pain Management is licensed to take all insurances, but currently is not.  If the doctor decides medical pain management is right for you, paying your office visit out of pocket and filling your medications at a local pharmacy with your insurance is also a viable option. A New Life Pain Management of Florida strives to offer the lowest prices to its patients.

Your Initial visit at A New Life Pain Management of Florida

For your initial visit you will need to be at least 25 years old.  You must have a current un expired Florida ID with a permanent address within 60 miles of the clinic and a verifiable MRI or CT scan that is no older than 24 months and is abnormal. (Faye Imaging MRI’s are not accepted). If you are currently on medications you must bring verifiable prescription printouts. Aside from the things listed above all medical records will be requested from the previous treating physicans. You also need to have a physicians prior diagnosis indicating the cause of your chronic pain. If you have un diagnosed chronic pain you must first obtain a referral from another physician for pain management. A New Life Pain Management does not treat acute pain. Other things that would be helpful for the doctor consist of surgical papers, ct scans, or any other information related to your injury. You also will recieve a urine screen. After all these things are received and verified you will see the physician and receive a full history and physical exam and and go over all other things deemed necessary by the physician. On your initial visit you will spend between 45-60 minutes with the physician. The things listed above are required to see the physician, but are in no way a guarantee that you will be put on a treatment regiment.

Your follow up visit at Ft. Myers Florida Pain Management

If a Pain Management doctor elects medical pain management therapy for you it will consist of you coming in every 28 days to do a follow up visit that will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. In this follow up visit all new and past treatment modalities will be discussed and your treatment plan may or may not be altered to meet the final goal of reducing your pain as much as possible. All random urine screens are sent out to a third party CLIA approved lab.
